Science Communication and Events Officer

Operating under the broad direction of the Portfolio Manager – Business and Finance, the Science Communication and Events Officer will provide a full range of science communication services and event management to promote and support the Institute for Applied Ecology (IAE). The position is responsible for projects including the publication of news through various media outlets and social media, the preparation of marketing material to promote IAE services and the public image of the Institute. The Science Communication and Events Officer will also manage a range of events such as an annual public lecture series, research workshops and the seminar series.
